State law requires us to disclose the affiliation in writing before you sign. The transparency is the whole point, and in Illinois, the structure is explicitly legal. “Aren't you just a contractor in disguise?” Majic Consulting Group holds an active Public Adjusting Firm license — the same credential a standalone PA firm carries. The difference: a standalone PA firm has to guess at repair scope. Our sister entity, Majic Construction Group, works on properties every day — so our damage estimates are tighter, more defensible, and harder for an insurer to shave. That's why our settlements come in higher, not lower.
